The Red Heads have got Talent!!!

And the winners are…

Here we are !!! As unveiled yesterday on Facebook, George Psomiadis is the great winner of the first edition of The Red Heads Have Got Talent, thanks to a superb and very emotional rendition of « Je sais pas / I don’t know » ! He will therefore be able to pick up his prize, that is to say either 555$ cash or a “dream night package” in Las Vegas.

We would like to warmly congratulate him on his victory. We can be proud of him and of his talent, well done! We should notice that the whole Greek fan community is also proudly being represented through him. Let’s take this opportunity to greet them! Ζήτω η Ελλάδα ! Μπράβο George!

Congratulations also to the two other winners, who were very close to victory. Stéphane Delobel from France gets second prize on his amazing acts as Céline Dion and will therefore get the magnificent book « Céline, au-delà de l’image », autographed by its author Diane Massicotte. Étienne Charpentier (also from France) will get a « The Red Heads » cap for his third place, thanks to his rendition and his very imaginative video of « Dans un autre monde ».

Iveta Kate Hanzlickova (Czech Republic) and François Delnooz (Belgium) have reached the fourth and fifth places. Bravo! You can be proud of your performances!

Some of you were extremely close to reaching the final and among them, two contestants are exceptionally awarded a “special distinction” from the jury, which thus wanted to underline the quality of their work and the originality of their concepts: these honorific mentions are officially granted to Joffrey Durel and Mélina Lama. They can be very proud, as the jury wanted to put emphasis on their performances through this nice gesture.

Regarding other participants, regardless of their ranking and how many votes they got, they deserve strong compliments: without the participation of everybody, this contest would not have been such a success. Each contribution, each participant counts enormously. Each video was a cornerstone, useful to the whole building! This is irreplaceable! You also MUST be proud of yourselves!

What conclusion to this first edition can we draw?

With these final results, the first edition of “The Red Heads Have Got Talent” is now already over… Oh yes « already »… And with some emotional feelings…

Yes, let’s say it, we are moved, overwhelmed with gratitude for the success this federative project got. Because we should remember that success is never guaranteed. For the Red Heads, it can only come as the result of a unique group movement, of a nice “spirit”. This is therefore the human aspect, which moves us the most and which we will want to remember in priority.

This success also came as a result of the participation of our jury : THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! There are no word to express the gratitude we all owe to Véronic, Laura and Nicole, these exceptional ladies.

You look and move so much like Celine it’s crazy!! Amazing gestures, facial expressions, hair & makeup. I love this guy!! Incredible talent! Un véritable caméléon ! On ressent le plaisir avec lequel ce travail est réalisé, un artiste, déjà.

Etienne Charpentier
Brilliant concept! Great use of basic equipment and minimal setting to tell your story. Looks like you had so much fun creating this. So innovative! You rock! Un travail d’équipe, une aventure qui semble avoir réuni beaucoup de monde sur un projet commun. On ressent dans vos regards l’envie de faire les choses bien et de communiquer des choses positives… Beau travail, tout simplement.

The filming and editing were spectacular. Brought tears to my eyes. Celine’s voice really added to the emotion of this very touching and personal video. Excellent! Une vidéo tout en émotion… qui nous rappelle que la musique est aussi faite pour véhiculer des messages forts…

It is no use underlining the figures we have presented during the different steps of the contest. They are simply amazing (e.g. thousands of visitors and votes), reaching levels we would not even have dared dreaming of. The number of fans of The Red Heads on Facebook reached a new high level, the community grew up.

But know it and believe it: this success is completely yours, each and everyone’s! More than ever, you are the drivers of the success of each Red Heads’ mission. Thank you again for your participation. The contest’s concept was just the perfect synthesis of the “Red Heads’ spirit”, the mirror of our own formula: gather, create, be original, be ambitious, help, participate, bring enthusiasm.

We hope you all had a good time with this contest, and that it allowed you to add some euphoria around Céline’s come back to Las Vegas. This hyphen brings us directly to less than 30 days before the Premiere, stay tuned!

And now ?

After this achievement and with respect to the already numerous requests… There may be… Who knows… In the future… “Maybe, probably, possibly”… AND IF YOU INSIST…
