We’ve been waiting for October 1st to come for so long ; indeed, tonight will be broadcast for the first time « 3 boys and a new show » on OWN, Oprah Winfrey’s new network.
This 90-minute long documentary will take us months back when Céline was preparing her return on the famous stage of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, right after giving birth to her twins, Nelson and Eddy. Céline lets us enter into her privacy and discover how she succeeded in combining her family life and the preparation of a new show… this will probably be a very touching moment!

Once again, The Red Heads did it for you… below is the video of the meeting between Céline Dion and Maxime Le Forestier in Las Vegas. Maxime Le Forestier has written one of the songs that will appear on Céline’s upcoming french album, named « Moi Quand Je Pleure ». And for the english-speaking fans… the english translation of the whole interview!

« I love to write for girls because it’s very different from me, so it enables me to say things in a way I would not use for my songs…
Céline Dion, it was at an editor’s instigation, called Jean-Phillipe Allard, who knew Céline Dion was looking for some songs and who offered me to join with Stanislas, Stanislas who produces a very joinful, very lively sound, very funny, like that… And as I write rather dark lyrics, he said to himself a combination of the two of us would be interesting…

It’s not a “little” song “don’t go away, don’t go away, crying, it’s such an extraordinary song that I was afraid of taking the responsibility to sing it…
The song Céline Dion has chosen is called “Moi quand je pleure” (Me when I cry), in fact it’s a portrait, of her, but a bit as a caricature, I’ve always seen Céline crying, in all the interviews, since she’s been 14, she cries easily, and TV hosts have not restrained themselves from “pushing the button” so I depicted a girl crying, Niagara falls.
– I’ve always seen you as being very emotional, but emotional nearly in excess…
– I think people know it anyway
– Yea they’re aware of it now
– Open book, she’s always crying, she’s happy, she’s happy to cry, she cries because she’s happy, etc. But the important thing is honesty, is to be honest, it’s to be the true person who you are… And… This song for me, it made me smile a bit, but it touched me above all…

– When I do a song for someone, I like to make it custom-tailored, really I don’t want ANY word to disturb you, I’m ready to change everything, if just one word is not okay for you, because I do it for me, if one word annoys me I change the whole song.

The day of March 16, 2011 has marked the mind of a hundred of Red Heads, The happiest and luckiest Red Heads of the world. That day, Céline and her team chose to make the dream of us fans come true by opening for the first time the doors of the Colosseum, the temple of Las Vegas that has become so mythic.
Therefore, on this special day, it is now time to reveal the pictures taken by Mister Gérard Schachmes, Céline’s official photographer, who was, for our greatest pleasure, a witness of this magical afternoon. A big “thank you” to him for immortalizing once again this very important moment for us, and for adding his precious signature to the meeting with our idol.

We were able to see how strong you can be in oreder to bring thousands of people to support your project. As you can see, for the first time fans have organized an international contest based on a totally new concept. In the end, fans will help other fans to win. Everyone’s participation is important, and even if your video is simple, it will still be a beautiful expression of your passion. You don’t have a video-camera? A camera or a webcam will do! HOW DOES IT WORK?
– Step 1
From D-55 to D-34 (until Tuesday 8th of february): send your videos.
You will have from January 20th 9:30pm to February 8th 8pm (Paris time) to send us your video. It MUST contain one (or several) Céline Dion songs, on which you have to perform. Send us your video on which you will reveal your hidden talents! You can sing? You can dance? You can play an instrument? None of that? No matter what your film is, you will have to be original for your video to win the contest! Only one obligation, use a Céline Dion song: if you dance or lip-sync, turn on the sound of a Céline song out loud! If you want to sing, only Céline songs will be accepted. You can use a song, karaoke music, your own instrumental creation, you decide! You can sing live, lip-sync, dance, dress up… you decide! Alone or in a group… you decide! Be original and imaginative if you want your video to win!
How to send your video: use a standard video format. It has to last no more than 5 minutes. Then upload it on one of the free uploading websites such as rapidshare or megaupload, and send us the link to lesredheads5@gmail.com.

D-35: opening of the votes.
After receiving all the videos before February 8th 8pm, they will be posted on the 9th midnight on our Facebook page. You will then be able to watch them, choose and vote your favorite one(s). You will have from the 9th to the 12th midnight to invite all your friends to watch your video and click on “I like”.
– Step 3
On Saturday, 12th of february, the votes stop, the finalists are announced, the videos are sent to the Jury. The 5 videos that will have the more “I like” will be the finalist videos. The exceptional Jury will decide on the winner depending on the originality, the talent, the quality of the video. On February 12th, the videos will be sent to the Jury and they will have 72 hours to decide on the winner.

D-30: announcement of the winners
On Tuesday, 15th of February, a month before Céline’s Premiere in Vegas… the winners will be proclaimed… a good way to celebrate Céline’s return!!
