Merry Christmas to all the Red Heads!
2011 is coming to its end… With great joy and pride, we are saying goodbye to one of our most beautiful years within the short life of our organization so far.
Let’s take a look at what happened during 2011:
• “The Red Heads have Got Talent”: more than 100 candidates to this contest, followed by more than 20 000 fans, featuring an exceptional premium jury (Nicole Coullier, Véronic DiCaire and Laura Landauer, to whom we again want to express our warmest gratitude). The great winner was a talented Greek fan, George, who earned a beautiful 555 $! This contest was organized to honor Celine’s Las Vegas comeback, enabling us to wait for our diva, while celebrating her.
• Las Vegas 2011: the most highly anticipated mission of this year, gathering more than 100 fans from around the world, meeting in Las Vegas to finally see our idol again: Celine Dion ! The Las Vegas premiere was just so intense and beautiful, it’s been such a wonderful journey… On top of which, we had the immense privilege to attend Celine’s sound check, an exceptional private gift to the Red Heads, a moment we’ll cherish forever. But this adventure has also been the opportunity for many of us to embark into new friendships and to prove how united the fans can be. Celine’s comeback in Vegas has proved to be immensely successful. For sure, 2011 will have been a great year in her career. There are no words to describe how grateful we are to her and her team, for giving so much love.
• The Red Heads Network « Contest »: for the first time, we were focusing and enhancing on “networking”, while introducing you to our partners. This contest took place during several days and was the opportunity to make you win 30 prizes on all of our partner’s Facebook pages. For the first time, a number of different partners have showed their support to our association. What a perfect way to have fun altogether, while strengthening our network! Thank you so much to those who acted as the sponsors to this first edition of the contest, showing how much they can be relied upon in terms of generosity.
• Véronic DiCaire’s Belgian comeback : a mission directed by the Belgian team, inviting more than 50 Red Heads from all over Europe to gather in Belgium to celebrate our favorite impersonator, Véronic, who is managed and “protected” by Celine and René. Again, she’s seen that the Red Heads are always there to show support and encourage her. What a great reward it has been to attend her private soundcheck and be able to talk to her for a few minutes. This has been the opportunity to close the year in a perfect manner, while making our community grow again.
We owe these achievements to all of those who are working on a daily basis to organize, communicate, prepare, think… Those who translate, draw, update, manage the web presence, the online store… Those who GIVE. That team is regularly growing, with the arrival of new talents, giving time and intelligence, so that this group can shine and reach its goals. For you, for us, for Celine! Let us particularly mention Celine City, who recently gave birth to Celine City Italia, a beautiful community of Italian fans, which is growing every day, thus offering an impressive and incomparable intermediary.
To finish with, this year also has strengthened the feeling we had at the very creation of the group. Our wish for 2012 is to go even higher, do even better! We will reach that goal thanks to your help, creating even more fantastic projects, dazzling Celine, celebrating her around the entire planet, letting us live our passion with joy and happiness.
YOU decided and we heard it: 2012 will be OUR year. We accept to altogether address the challenge in order to make 2012 a great year!
The end of an era, yes… the beginning of a new creative inspiration for sure!
