As you know, we are about to discover the new duet between Céline and Michel Sardou. Since the confirmation of the rumors, we have seen on the web waves of comments criticizing positively or with more apprehension their collaboration. Michel Sardou fans were also surprised by this announcement, they probably never thought that such a duet was possible… and now everybody is asking about the result of the mix of the two universes.
But who is Michel Sardou? Do you really know him?! Let us introduce you a little bit to one of the most famous singers in France! Born in 1947 in Paris, he is an author, compositor and a French performer. Son of a family of artists, he also plays in movies and in theaters but it is in Music that he has the most success.
Since 1970’s, he has been one of the most popular French singers according to his CDs sales and the crowds of his shows. With more than 40 years of career, he recorded about 300 songs with a few big hits like “Les Lacs du Connemara” or “La maladie d’amour”. His last hit was “La rivière de notre enfance” (Top1 in 2004) in duet with Garou…
Now about twenty years after he recorded one of his biggest hits in 1981 “Etre une femme”, Michel Sardou decided to make it the new single of his next album. He worked with the famous French DJ Laurent Wolf to mix this song and add some new modern sounds to it… all he needs to make a terrific come back in the main dance floors in France. Not only did he remix the music, but he also wrote news lyrics in order to talk about women’s today life conditions.
Next 30th of August we will all discover this album which contains what we are waiting for, his duet with Céline… They should start recording the video clip of “Voler” in Florida starting on September, 23rd.

Note: Did you know? Jacques Veneruso worked on Michel Sardou’s album and especially on the song « Voler ». The same author, friend of Jean-Jacques Goldman, who worked with Céline on “1 Fille et 4 types”… who knows, he may have been the link between the two stars…
Note: Michel Sardou will perform on the mythic Olympia starting on January, 13th, in Paris, for 19 representations… could we hope for one with Céline..?

Dear Red Heads,
We have the great pleasure to reveal the official program of our new mission: LasVegas2011 by The Red Heads. We have been waiting for this for years, since we met each other, since we decided to put a name on what we are. After Québec2009 ! which was our first trip together, we are ready to jump into this mythic city that every fan knows. Because yes, Céline is coming back, and beyond the joy to go and see her on stage again, many will take this opportunity to make a dream that they have had for years come true… go to the conquest of the Far West.
Several of you already know Las Vegas as you went there during the 5 years of “A New Day…” representations, while others will travel to America for the very first time. For these reasons, it was obvious for us to work on a combined program, both original and complete, for this trip to be unique for all of us.
This is why, when the plane takes off from your city’s airport, it will not be heading to Las Vegas but to Los Angeles. This West coast city deserves to be seen, and our 2-day stopover will not be too much to immerse ourselves in the Hollywood universe. It is only on the 14th of March that we will have the privilege to land, by night, in Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. Imagine the view that you will have when the plane starts its descent… an incredible panorama of thousands of lights, to see by night, we insist.
Then Las Vegas, the Strip, the casinos that will surround you until your arrival at your hotel. An hotel that you already know… yes, indeed… you have already been there, in your dreams.
Then you will have two days to visit Las Vegas, its huge hotels that are all spectacular and majestic. 2 days to immerge yourself in this unique atmosphere… bling bling, slot machines are echoing. And 2 nights we will all remember: Céline on the stage of the Colosseum.
After the Premiere, we invite you to party in the most famous NightClub in Las Vegas : The Pure. Don’t hurry… your table has already been booked in a sumptuous room… ask for « The Red Room ». Do you also believe in signs?
The two days that follow are OFF. Céline will take a deserved break but we won’t. Because we have chosen this time to leave the city, explore and discover what is part of the legend… The Grand Canyon. But to do things with The Red Heads touch, we have decided to rent big buses that will come and pick you up at your hotel, heading to the Nevada desert… and that will carry us around during this two-day trip..
Don’t miss this. You will discover unusual landscapes worth the greatest westerns. A long break on the Grand Canyon borders will allow you to understand why this park is one of the most famous of the world. In order to increase your pleasure, we offer you to jump into a helicopter that will take you high above the Grand Canyon and then drop you off in its huge water-soaks where a small boat will be waiting for you…
In the meantime, or later, others will be able to chose to horseback ride, in the stony and desert roads… which will make you feel all alone in the world, lost in this Far West setting.
You will not be going back to Las Vegas on that day. Because we are taking you to an amazing place that will make our trip even more fantastic. The Red Heads Night Fever will be waiting for you. A cow-boy style dinner, music that will accompany the crackle of the camp fires, marshmallow brochettes, some lassos to practice on bisons… so many components for a unique cocktail. Look above, you will see the stars… far away from Las Vegas extravagance, we will spend the whole evening in a traditional Ranch entirely booked for The Red Heads and will sleep in comfortable small cottages, or in real tipis…
The day after, it will be time to go and relax in a peaceful place… You will sail on one of the most beautiful lakes of the Western U.S. ! At the end of the morning, we will indeed take the bus again to drive to the quiet waters of Lake Mead. We will be able to enjoy a picnic on the way, before taking a ride on a fascinating boat with an extraordinary history, i.e. an authentic Mississipi-styled steamboat.
Finally, in the middle-afternoon, before returning to Las Vegas and enjoying its euphoria, we will stop in Lake Las Vegas, where Céline lives, in order to visit this charming city and get a well-deserved ice-cream. We will be back in Las Vegas at the beginning of the evening.
For those who will choose this “short” program, this will be the last night in Las Vegas… We won’t miss the opportunity to party one last time…
For the others, after this little “closing” party, you will be able to stay in Las Vegas or elsewhere and to plan your visits as you wish. Of course many Red Heads are likely to stay around on the second week, therefore it will be easier for you to plan your stay in little groups. For those who want to stay longer, we recommend you to go to Motel 6 located at the South of the Strip and which rooms are available at a very competitive price.
We hope that this program will seduce you. We have tried our best for everyone to enjoy the trip as much as possible. Of course, everything is « à la carte ». Some will rather go to the Universal Studios, while others will prefer a first flight above the Grand Canyon.

Survey: the Premiere in Vegas, your opinion is needed!
A few days ago we gave you the confirmation that The Red Heads will be – once again – at the rendez-vous to attend the first shows in Las Vegas. But you probably knew already that we would not let the opportunity to gather for such an important event go away.
Of course, since the great success of the Québec mission in February 2009, our team has become stronger and gained popularity. Through the different missions accomplished in the last 2 years, we are lucky to have Red Heads all over the world and we want to make this next event something that is worth what we have become.
This is why for a few months now we have been working on a new program for everyone who wants to attend the Premiere to be able to make the most of this journey in the West americain, while sharing all together this passion that leads us. For the first time in Las Vegas, we are going to arrange for all fans of the world an international meeting that is likely to be very special.
Just like we did for Québec2009! we are going to propose different programs that should meet everyone’s expectations. Our aim is to ponctuate our journey with special moments spent all together while leaving enough free time for everyone to discover all the advantages of the Sin City. Before we finalize our programs, we would like you to help us answer a few questions so that we can take the best decisions. Thank you all, the wait should not be too long now…

We could not miss that ! Many of you know it already, some still cannot belive it, but that is now official, CELINE IS PREGNANT WITH TWINS !!!
In Europe, fans have read the news on People Magazine’s website, confirming the information that had leaked on Twitter. It is rapidly spreading on the internet, like for instance on Canadian, American and French websites this morning.
Celine has now been pregnant for 14 weeks. Following the disappointment of 2009, the Dion family decided to wait a few weeks before confirming. It was the 6th in vitro fertilization attempt.
Celine has been very cautious. Le journal de Montréal has been able to interview Celine and René, and she declared : « I stayed in New York this time, under medical care for one month and not moving too much. René-Charles came to see me. » We also learned that Celine had used acupuncture to optimize the process.
Le Journal de Montreal also revealed the family is moving in its new home these days.
René told People magazine : « »We’re ecstatic, ». « Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. » »
Two babies for Celine and her family. That comes as a marvellous reward and shows how determined Celine and René are.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the March 15 return to Caesars Palace is maintained.
It is a time for joy and celebration ! Congratulation Celine and René and the whole family ! Next week we will know if the babies are two girls, two boys, or a boy and a girl ! Make a bet !!
