Long life to The Red Heads (they did it!!)

It has been about two years since you saw the birth of The Red Heads, a group of Céline Dion fans that are a bit crazy in their kind. Some of you have followed our events since the very first day, others joined us a bit later or even a few days ago.

Since the creation of the group, events crazier and crazier each time have followed on and you have been the witnesses, but especially the actors of this story that is ours. Remember that journey to the other continent, that welcoming firework. Remember the first time you wore the cap, that long night spent painting this damned white sheet… remember that huge concert hall, just for us… for us and for her. That woman we dream about and whose eyes met ours for the first time. Remember that run in the sand, the thumping sound of the engine, that proposal… remember that day waiting in the line, that evening around a table, images on the big screen, around you they laugh, they cry. Meetings, meetings, meetings ! And since then… friends.

Each of us cares so much about The Red Heads, and this is our strength. Our number keeps increasing, fans from all over the world greet and support us. Even stronger, She knows everything about us, about our story, our projects.

And it is to keep living our passion as much as possible, to keep taking up even bigger challenges, to be up to our ambitions that we have taken a decision that means a lot.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are pleased to announce you that The Red Heads are entering a new era. The website was a first step, but it is nothing compared to what is coming up, under the following designation: The Red Heads, non-profit organization…

Coffee table book… come on!

Céline has been away for only one year but the last months have been marked with all kinds of announcements and releases. After all… we have not had the time to be bored! With the photo book of the tour « Céline Autour Du Monde » from Gérard Schachmes, the collector version of D’Eux , the movie « Céline Through the Eyes of the World » which was even released in theaters, and the DVDs that have just been released, we are happy to announce you that a new large-size book is very likely to be released in the coming weeks.

It would seem like this new work is what we call a « Coffee table book », a luxurious and prestigious « art déco » book, more designed to be exhibited and leafed through than read. Full of new pictures that have marked Céline’s career, this unique release should be published in only 500 copies in France, and on the good will of management teams in other countries.

Its author is a photographer who has had the chance to follow Céline for a few years, and who has kept preciously these clichés to offer them now in a collector that is likely to contain some wonderful pictures.

Let’s be brave ! And wait wisely for dionien news to be announced…

After the release of The Red Heads new website, it is now the mobile interface that is finalized. Apparently the group is growing… So let’s not be stingy in communication and let’s be modern. We hope that the senior members will adapt to this new technology, and that the new ones will like it!

Souvenir… Véronic DiCaire together with the Red Heads (February 6th 2010)

Remember last February 6th! After a few weeks preparing for the event, The Red Heads got together again in rue de la Gaité in Paris, to keep a promise that was made one year ago.

That day we were all wearing our most beautiful clothes, we all had our red caps, T-shirts, balls and umbrellas in the hand, and we were ready to shake up the place! And we didn’t miss our target, Véronic DiCaire was there in the middle, goggling in front of so much frenzy and colours. Her face was reflecting joy and astonishment, as if she was hesitating between laugh and cry! Véronic war literally overwhelmed with fans that came especially for her, shouting and applauding. Storekeepers were watching at the door, inhabitants at the window, all asking themselves whether an international star had landed in the street!

And they were right thinking about international star, because we tell you, Véronic DiCaire is gonna go far, very far! It is a few months since she is travelling the world with much success! From Montréal to Paris, Bruxelles to Monaco… Her incredible talent may soon bring her to Las Vegas… A career’s beginning that reminds us of someone, oh yea… Someone we just like a little bit…

Céline dedicates a private screening of her movie to The Red Heads

On Sunday, 2nd of May, Céline Dion fans were able to fulfil one of their dearest dreams, finally watch “Céline: Through The Eyes Of The World” on a big screen! And it is with joy that each of them took place in one of the comfortable chairs of the beautiful Théâtre de la Gaité Montparnasse, which filled this fabulous event with warmth.

Fans, still more and more numerous, organized themselves very quickly to attend together this screening which was to be unique. From all over France but also Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Moldavia, Tunisia… some of them were even in the French capital for the first time.

This parisian week-end started in the heart of the mythic foire du trône, where the first participants decided to meet. Roller coasters, the house of terror, rifle shootings, every one of them had fun! Without mentioning rainbow candies, sweet smells that flutter in the wind of each entertainment park… anyway, a happy afternoon under a threatening but mild sky.

After a quick stop at the hotel, fans met in the evening in order to celebrate their reunion and to welcome the new comers. The whole level of one of the Montparnasse restaurants was invaded by red heads in a highly charged atmosphere. A beautiful evening, new meetings, hugs and contagious laughing… good mood was definitely at the rendez-vous! What a pleasure to see that everybody succeeded in getting along together without any trouble. The New The Red Heads fitted in in a wink as if we had known them forever.

And what about the screening?! An amazing movie that shows exactly what each Céline fan wishes to see and hear. A fan of Céline, not of Céline dion. A fan of not only the singer, the performer, the world star, but of this authentic woman of a surprising ingenuousness, who knows how to make one laugh and cry within a minute. The Red Heads are fans of Céline, more than ever!!!

And to finish, a premiere dedicated by Céline herself… indeed, when she learned that these famous fans that make people talk about them (and talk about her!) were organizing a premiere of her movie, she wished to dedicate this screening to all The Red Heads who had come and to tell them once again “Thank you”.

For all of us, seeing her emphasize our meeting with these few words is just amazing. Not only because 15 days ago she sent us a REAL MESSAGE that we were not even hoping for, but also because only 15 days later, she did not hesitate to show us her affection again.

As we are fans this touches us. Receiving a message from her once is already exceptional, but receiving a second one is totally unexpected. This time let’s be honest, Céline knows who The Red Heads are, and we are very proud of having reached her but also touched her.

Thank you Céline for understanding who we are and what we want, thank you Sony Music for supporting us in our extraordinary mission, and thank you all for being here and more enthusiastic each time, your support is needed and gives us the will to always do better.
